Our team is reviewing now.
A final version is expected mid-year 2018. Here’s a timeline to implementation according to the World Wide Web Cosortium (W3C):
August: W3C is gathering comments and feedback
September: A new working draft will be published. This will include a focus on new success criteria and will be open to feedback.
November: Final version published. Implementation testing to commence
Mid-2018: Version 2.1 is expected to be published.
